Your hideaway in Garmisch, at the foot of the Hausberg. Ten minutes on foot to the pedestrian zone, fifteen to the Hausbergbahn cable car.

Arriving

One flight of stairs, and the mountains are in the room.

After an active day you come home and climb the stairs. First floor, door open: 71 square metres, light walls, oak underfoot, and from the wrap-around balcony the view of the mountains.

Two bedrooms, a bathroom with tub and shower, a fully equipped kitchen. Room for up to five. For families, for friends, for two couples who want to feel at home.

The Morning

The mountains wake up.

Coffee in hand, the sun catches the Alpspitze and Zugspitze. It is quiet here. Even so, you are in the pedestrian zone in ten minutes on foot and at the Hausbergbahn cable car in fifteen.

The Partnachklamm gorge begins behind the Olympic ski stadium. The Eibsee lake is a short drive. The cogwheel railway to the Zugspitze leaves from the station.

The afternoon.

Back from the mountain. Bright, beautifully renovated, 71 square metres on the first floor. Oak, white walls and plenty of window light.

Coming together

A table for eating and playing.

A large dining table for five, a corner sofa, a television you will probably rarely need. The kitchen is fully equipped for anyone who likes to cook, with Nespresso or a French press for coffee.

In fine weather you eat outside on the balcony, with the view. Washing machine and dryer are there, and Wi-Fi, of course.

The Bathroom

A refreshing shower.

After the hike, a refreshing shower or a soak in the tub. The bright, spacious bathroom is ready.

The Night

Two rooms, three beds.

Bedroom 1 has a double bed. Bedroom 2 has a double bed and a single bed. Parents with children or two couples each have a room of their own.

The Location

Ideally placed.

The Hausberg Suite lies in the quiet south of Garmisch: residential streets, gardens, a church tower, and the Hausberg behind. From here almost everything is within walking distance, and what is not is a short drive away.
